Abstract. The current paper has presented the results of applying various terms and types nitrogen additional fertilizing in cultivation winter bread wheat. purpose study was to establish productivity grain quality wheat sown after sunflower, when using fertilizing. Ammophos ammonium sulfate were applied under seedbed cultivation; nitrate, urea carbamide-ammonia mixture used as at different periods active vegetation. Methods. research conducted Agricultural Research Center “Donskoy” 2017–2019. When laying conducting experiment, taking into account yield, generally accepted methods used; technology dose corresponds Zonal farming systems Rostov region. Scientific novelty. For first time there have been determined best terms, doses with fertilizers for southern part Results. There established a significant effect on productivity, well quality. Portioned application nitrate N90 contributed obtaining maximum 6.15 t/ha trial, increase comparison control variant 2.34 or 61.4%. In other variants due use ranged from 0.90 2.26 t/ha. Autumn N30 an effective agricultural method that improvement 0.55–0.64 high efficiency indicators yield structure elements, namely, ‘kernel weight per head’ ‘number productive stems’. Nitrogen improved qualitative characteristics product. found out portioned N90, yielded highest economic indicators, such 30117 rubles/ha conditional net income 112.9 % production profitability.
